For many years, he served as President of Empire Equity Group, Inc., a business he co-founded in the 1980s. Since 2006, Ezra Beyman also has co-owned Empire American Holdings, LLC, in Montvale, New Jersey. Ezra Beyman has been involved in the real estate industry for over thirty years, when he earned a First Talmudic Degree equivalent to a B.A. from Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem in New York, New York in 1975. Later, Beyman started his first business by purchasing small office buildings on the East Coast. Later, he shifted his focus to large apartment complexes. Around the same time, he co-founded a mortgage brokerage in his basement. The business grew rapidly. He soon opened an office and started satellite locations in other states. Over time, he acquired several mortgage firms. By the mid-2000s, his company, Empire Equity Group, Inc., operated more than 200 offices throughout the United States. At its peak, the business ranked as the nation’s third-largest mortgage brokerage. He sold the corporation in 2007, shortly after founding Empire American Holdings.
